New properties
For new properties, ask the vendor to show you the Deed of Declaration of New Building (Declaración de Obra Nueva), together with a copy of the Declaration of Alteration of Property of an Urban Nature (Declaration de Alteración de Bienes de Naturaleza Urbana), which both demonstrates that the property has been registered for the eventual payment of I.B.I. (Impuesto de Bienes inmuebles).
